THE STRUCTURE OF THE LANDSCAPE CONCEPT IN THE LARGE FORMS OF FICTION

The structure of the concept "landscape" in the fiction texts of English Literature in the XIX–XX centuries is analyzed in this article. Particularly this structure consists of national, personal, gender, and sensory components. The national component of the concept "landscape" is identified with combined image of the British landscape, fixed with different degree of frequency in the given texts. The personal component in the structure of the concept "landscape" realized at the text's level may be in two forms: personal-author's and personal-character's.
